Mrs. Sherry Sinclair graduated from East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas, in 1991, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She obtained a Masters of Education in Educational Administration from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, in 2018.
Sherry Sinclair began her career in education with the Queen City ISD and Mt. Pleasant ISD before joining the Sulphur Springs faculty in 1999. Mrs. Sinclair taught 12 years in the Head Start classroom, and 8 teaching Kindergarten through Sixth grades. She has also served as the Education Specialist for the SSISD Head Start Program on the campus of Early Childhood Learning Center. With the restructure of the elementary campuses in SSISD, Mrs. Sinclair became the Academic Specialist/Head Start Assistant Director of the Douglass Campus. Mrs. Sinclair started her new role as the Principal/Head Start Director of the Douglass ECLC campus in the Summer of 2022 after the retirement of Angela Edwards in June of 2022.
