Mission Statement
The Mission of the Sulphur Springs ISD Head Start/Pre-K program, in collaboration with staff, parents, and community members is to provide a safe, orderly, and nurturing environment, which develops every child into a lifelong learner; thus, enabling them to become effective communicators, complex thinkers, and productive citizens…ready to meet the challenges and uncertainties of the future.

- The Texas Pre-Kindergarten Guidelines, Head Start Child Development and Early Learning Framework, and Early Childhood Special Education concepts are implemented to meet a variety of developmental levels.
- Students will be encouraged and challenged to meet their full educational potential.
- Students will be taught by highly qualified and exceptionally trained staff.
- Students will be educated in learning environments that are safe, drug-free, and conducive to learning.
- Parents/guardians will be encouraged to be involved in school and community activities.
