Endorsements and Programs of Study for Graduation Plans
In 2013, House Bill 5, passed by the Texas Legislature, made substantial changes to the state's curriculum and graduation requirements, assessment programs, and accountability systems. Beginning in the 2014-2015 school year, each high school student will graduate on a Foundation High School Program with an Endorsement.
ENDORSEMENT AREAS
Within each Endorsement, students will find different Programs of Study (POS) from which to choose. Each student must also complete a Career Plan developed with the help of their parents and school guidance to promote College, Career Readiness (CCR). Students are allowed to change their Endorsement and/or Program of Study, but parents must be notified of any changes.
PJC ARTICULATED COURSES
