1. Health counseling
2. Screening
a. Vision
b. Hearing
c. Spinal
3. Prevention & control of communicable diseases
a. Immunization
b. Exclusion of students who have communicable disease
4. Providing emergency care
5. Referrals and follow-ups
6. Maintaining health records

School nurses do not provide over-the-counter medicine for our students. Any medicine a student may require during the school day must be provided by the parent or guardian and kept in the nurse's office. |
